Position

The Senior Manager, Marketing is a strategic marketing leader responsible for building and executing an integrated marketing strategy that strengthens NorthStar’s brand, accelerates commercial growth, and positions the company for long-term leadership in the radiopharmaceutical market.

 

This role owns NorthStar’s external narrative and brand experience across all channels, ensuring consistent, compelling, and differentiated messaging in a highly regulated and scientifically complex environment. The leader will partner closely with executive leadership, commercial team, quality, operations, and external stakeholders to translate business strategy into measurable marketing impact.

Responsibilities

Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and own a multi-year marketing strategy aligned with NorthStar’s growth objectives and corporate vision.
  • Translate corporate and commercial strategies into cohesive brand positioning, messaging frameworks, and execution roadmaps.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on market positioning, communications, and growth opportunities.

Brand & Corporate Development

  • Own and protect the NorthStar brand across all external channels and experiences.
  • Establish and enforce brand governance, ensuring consistency and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead executive-level messaging for key announcements, partnerships, and market-facing initiatives.

Digital, Content & Channel Excellence

  • Lead strategy and continuous optimization of corporate and product digital platforms.
  • Build and execute a data-driven content strategy that supports customer engagement, pipeline growth, and thought leadership.
  • Own social media and digital channel strategy, with defined KPIs and performance accountability.

Commercial Enablement & Market Presence

  • Align closely with Sales and Commercial teams to ensure marketing programs directly support pipeline development and revenue objectives.
  • Own NorthStar’s conference and external event strategy, ensuring strong ROI and brand impact.

Performance, Budget & Analytics

  • Own marketing budget, forecasting, ROI measurement, and continuous performance improvement.
  • Establish marketing dashboards and executive reporting tied to business outcomes.

People & Partnerships

  • Build, lead, and scale a high-performing marketing communications team.
  • Manage external agencies and partners to deliver best-in-class creative and execution.

Early Development

Brand & Market Positioning

  • Establish clear, differentiated NorthStar brand positioning within first 120 days.
  • Achieve measurable improvement in brand awareness and perception within target customer segments by 12–18 months (via surveys, engagement data, or pipeline attribution).

Commercial Impact

  • Marketing programs demonstrably influence qualified pipeline growth (e.g., defined contribution to lead generation, deal acceleration, account penetration).
  • Deliver sales-aligned campaigns with documented impact on revenue conversations and opportunity creation.

Digital & Content Performance

  • Increase website engagement metrics (traffic, session duration, conversion actions) by 30–50% within 12 months.
  • Implement full content calendar and governance model within 90 days.
  • Establish ongoing thought leadership cadence across digital and industry channels.

Event & External ROI

  • Implement structured event ROI framework within 6 months.
  • Improve return on key conferences and external investments year-over-year (e.g., pipeline influenced, meetings booked, opportunities created).

Operational Excellence

  • Launch marketing performance dashboard within 6 months.
  • Deliver marketing programs on time, on budget, with consistent executive reporting.

Team & Infrastructure

  • Build and/or restructure marketing communications function with clearly defined roles, processes, and performance expectations within 6–9 months.
  • Improve cross-functional satisfaction with marketing partnership (measured via leadership feedback).

Qualifications

Minimum Education/Experience Required:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business and minimum eight (8) years of Marketing experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The following experience is also required:

  • Strategic marketing leadership with strong brand and messaging expertise.
  • Digital and content marketing excellence, including website, social, and channel performance.
  • Commercial partnership experience supporting pipeline and revenue growth.
  • Budget ownership and analytics tied to measurable business outcomes.

Preferred Education/Experience:  

 

In-depth understanding of FDA regulations promoting to promotional activities and in-depth understanding of Regulatory and Leal Review of marketing materials preferred. 

 

Please note: This role has the potential to evolve into a leadership position. You may play a key role in shaping the team that could eventually report to you. Because of this, leadership experience is preferred. In the interim, you would be responsible for owning the function and managing the day‑to‑day responsibilities.

Working Conditions

This role may involve working in a controlled cleanroom environment, general office setting, or specific manufacturing areas. Conditions may include:

  • Exposure to varying temperatures, both indoors (heated/air-conditioned spaces) and outdoors
  • Noise levels range from quiet to loud, depending on the work area
  • Specific vision abilities, including near vision, visual acuity, and color discrimination

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required and may include:

  • Respirators, gloves, safety glasses, and full protective clothing
  • Compliance with cleanroom gowning protocols (e.g., removal of all jewelry, including piercings)
  • Prohibition of cosmetics, fragrances (perfume, aftershave), and nail products, including polish, artificial nails, or extensions

As a radiopharmaceutical manufacturing site, radiation may be present in the laboratory and production areas. Employees in this role may be required to:

  • Follow strict radiation safety procedures
  • Participate in dosimetry monitoring and bioassay testing as part of the company protocol
  • Inform leadership of any health conditions that may affect product integrity, by cleanroom standards
