The AI Systems & Process Engineer is a highly collaborative role responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying internal AI-enabled software applications and tools that support organizational transformation. This role focuses on business process re-engineering efforts and translating process and business requirements into scalable, production-ready applications. The position works closely with Process Excellence teams, End Users, SMEs, IT, and junior developers to rapidly build, validate, and deploy solutions that improve operational efficiency, enable data-driven decision-making, and support scalable growth. Successful candidates will prioritize collaboration, speed, business value and customer impact, balancing concerns around security, scalability, and extensibility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
After 3 months you will:
Participate in process re-engineering efforts, and collaboratively develop AI applications to drive the business forward.
After 6 months you will:
Lead broader system redesign efforts
Minimum Education/Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field + 6 years experience minimum. Strong experience building full-stack applications, APIs, and AI-enabled solutions for enterprise business systems.

COMPUTER SKILLS
In addition to familiarity with Microsoft Office software programs, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, ability with the following computer skills:
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern development frameworks.
• Familiarity with rapid development using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude, Codex, GitHub Copilot, similar tools).
• Experience integrating AI/ML models into applications.
• Strong debugging, testing, and code optimization skills.
• Strong understanding of data models, system integration, and application workflows.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Familiarity with system integration across enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, data systems, etc.).
• Knowledge of API security, authentication (OAuth, tokens), and data flows.
• Knowledge of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL).
• Experience with version control systems (Git-based workflows).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP). Experience deploying and maintaining production applications.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and validation practices.
• Knowledge of application security principles and best practices.
• Understanding of data governance, risk, and compliance considerations. Experience documenting systems and maintaining development standards
